Jumpsuit Fever

Jumpsuit - DIY

For a while I’ve been having this insane attraction to making all things into a jumpsuit.  I must have made more than my share because my sister and mother have asked that I not make another one (as seen here, here, and here ).  Well my goodness!  They may have a point. Lol.

My sister asked me to make her a jumpsuit for her birthday.  It turned out so cute and classy on her that I had to make myself one.  The same alterations used for hers were also used on mines.  Patterns were Out of Print (OOP) Butterick 5950 for the top and Simplicity 1355 for the bottom.

Alterations:

Added 9” invisible zipper in back bodice

1” pleat in front and back of pants

Tapered pants by 2.5” per side in leg starting from the knee going down to hem

Shorten pant length to above ankle length for pink jumpsuit

The color pink looks sooooo good on my sister.
