My first red + white dress

I purchased two awesome knits from Fabric.com, both were prints: red and white (no longer on site) and black and white (no longer on site). Valentines was approaching and I knew I wanted to sew a cute..well, sexy dress. My sister advised I use the red and white since I have no red dresses in my closet. Wearing red on a Hallmark holiday seemed so traditional to me. However, I did give in and wore it to lunch with a belt I made using leather purchased from Tandy . After all it is red and white.
Alterations: Took an 1.5” from waist and shorten sleeves to 3/4 length. I also made the pewter leather belt tie
This Vogue pattern will be in my rotation for a while to come.
